Anzo and Nayiram are two of the cities premier afrobeats, amapiano and African electronic dance music deejays. The two have arranged countless said genre parties at venues in the city including but not limited to, the crocodile, monkey loft, vue, que, nuemos and so forth.
Anzo has been on a 6 month global sabbatical, and is coming back to Seattle with a collection of new sounds to share with the city, without musical borders.
Nayiram is a master of global sounds and holds a passion for pushing alternative sounds outside of the mainstream. He also is the founder of Amapiano is Here, the Afrobeats Party and When We Dance.
As the two gear up to take the stage, and host Blastfest at the Seattle Center on July 18th, the idea for the night is to bring together an intimate, exclusive crowd to celebrate the homecoming. The goal is also to push the sounds of the diaspora while most importantly enjoying a dance night of elevated sounds and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
The basement provides the perfect location, as it is intimate and also has a boiler room feel that helps to promote the concept that the two are attempting to execute.
