An eclectic and joyous night of cinematic pop and ambient music featuring Infinite Neck (Oakland), Freman and Richie Dagger’s Crime.
Infinite Neck:
Live sound and motion collage. Evolving sonic experiments and stuttering limbs. Oakland-based duo, Infinite Neck is a multimedia set featuring live violin looping & sampling and evolving sequencing from Michael Dooley while Finn K. transitions through vintage jazz styles into oozing and staticky improv movements interspersed with live-projected body sketching.
Freman:
Freman is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer, hell-bent on blurring the boundaries between high and low art. From classical violin to soul singing, bluegrass to Broadway, Freman endeavors to draw disparate genres, ideas and humans together.
Richie Dagger’s Crime:
Richie Dagger’s Crime began in 2011 as the solo composition/recording project of Chicago transplant Richie Nelson and has since evolved into a collaborative project with various local producers and musicians. Currently, the live accompaniment includes Chris Schuett (guitar/vox), Erik Sanchez (bass/vox), Chris Anderson (drums), Lauren Freman (vox/violin/percussion), Alex Markey (keyboard/synth) and Eric Padget (trumpet).
