Fusing classical music with experimental sound design and performance art, Roxanna Walitzki’s operatic performances have been heralded as “spellbinding.” Walitzki’s music is ethereal and intricate, reinventing both the sound and aesthetic of art-songs while retaining their poignant emotional core. Her “vocal prowess, coupled with her unabashed bravery, is meant to be seen as well as heard” (NW Music Scene).
After calling Seattle home for the last six years, Roxanna is departing on a long European tour, and celebrating with an intimate farewell concert at the Jewelbox Theater.
